Straight away, Carly put me at ease. She understood where I was coming from and made me feel like I could succeed.

I was feeling really low about myself in so many ways. I was avoiding going out with friends and cancelling plans because I just hated how I looked in everything I owned. With me it was always about the weight because I used to think The number on the scale defines who I am and how people look at me.
How has Carly's coaching helped you achieve these goals?
Carly showed me and thought me it is just a number on scale. I learned so much about myself while not just loosing weight (and getting the number down) but about the nutrition as well, how to be healthy long term. Most importantly that I don’t need to starve myself but I can really enjoy all the food and keep my social life, long term. She introduced me to gym and other activities I would never have the confidence to do.

What were your main goals when you started working with Carly?
To lose weight
How has Carly's coaching helped you achieve these goals?
I was at rock bottom. I hated myself and my appearance and I felt there was no way out. I had tried "everything" and this was my last hope. Carly was so positive about how she could help me and I went in and fully trusted the process. It was a totally different approach to anything I had done before and it felt uncomfortable at first, but I just followed the plan, turned up consistently for myself and trusted her with my journey. The scales started moving in the right direction, but after a while, I realised that wasn't what mattered most to me. My mindset was changing. My view of myself was changing. My happiness in life in general improved and that actually made the most difference. This made my fatloss journey the easy!
What was the most valuable aspect of Carly's coaching for you?
The support in changing my mindset on life in general. Obviously the support in changing my eating habits, my relationship with food and increasing my exercise and movement helped so much, but what helped most, was unleashing my self belief. The belief I could achieve anything I put my mind to. The support in improving my mental wellbeing has been the most impactful, because without that, the physical transformation wouldn't have been possible.

Absolutely. You might join with a specific goal or reason, but what you gain along the way will blow your mind. There are so many aspects to being coached by Carly, many you wouldn't even have considered at the beginning. She is like the missing puzzle piece we all need to feel our absolute best selves. The community she has created is incredible and will support you along the way too. You will find a CBC family of like-minded people who truly want the best for you.

Carly’s approach is realistic. She’s about working hard to enjoy your life and that it’s ok to have a social life. I think this is the balance I needed to maintain and carry on going forward. I felt I was stuck in a rut with my current health so wanted to get advice to tweak things to help make progress with my exercise program and health.

What were your main goals when you started working with Carly?
I needed to get healthier. I was exercising regularly and I thought I was eating relatively healthily, but I was still putting on weight. I wasn’t happy with my body and I was in a constant state of negative thoughts about myself.
I wanted to lose weight, but above all, I wanted to be happy.
How has Carly's coaching helped you achieve these goals?
I never believed that I deserved nice things because I wasn’t slim enough or beautiful enough - I know how silly that sounds.
Carly has helped me to completely reframe how I think about myself. Rationally, I knew that one meal that was not as balanced would not ruin everything, but my irrational brain power (my super power) would say that I might as well give up and then justify that belief that I didn’t deserve anything nice because I was a failure.
Now, I am living. Yes, there are parameters around foods, but it is not about being perfect all the time; it is about being consistent.
Having just done the 6 week summer holiday, I have had (too) many lunches out, but I remained focused on being consistent when I can. I have not even given up when my hormones encouraged me to eat a whole (large) bar of chocolate and ALL the snacks!! This is all because I know that it is not going to “ruin” my “diet” as this is my lifestyle now and I just need to get back to it - and I have.
What was the most valuable aspect of Carly's coaching for you?
Helping me to understand how to fuel my body effectively and how to love and appreciate myself.
Would you recommend Coached by Carly Fry to others? If so, why?
EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK AND TWICE ON SUNDAYS!!
I literally cannot explain the difference this coaching has made to me. I have more confidence; I have learnt a way to live where I am not hungry or thinking about food all the time that is sustainable; I am stronger than I’ve ever been and am loving the muscle definition that I am developing. The biggest win is that I no longer hate myself or how I look.
